Homeowner Applications Available

Applications are now available for low-income families interested in becoming Habitat for Humanity homeowners in the Corning - Addison area. Application deadline is March 31, 2010. Criteria for selection include a need for a decent and affordable house, the ability to repay a no-profit, no-interest mortgage, and the willingness to partner with Habitat by working 500 hours of “sweat equity.” A Habitat for Humanity Homebuyer Workshop will be held Saturday, March 13 from 10 to 11:30 in the Southeast Steuben County Library Conference Room.
